How to delete your data

You can delete your Afridea account yourself, at any time. It works the same whether you signed up with an email, Google, Telegram or Facebook.

Delete it yourself

1. Log in.
2. Open Settings → Account → Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm. If you have a password, enter it too. If you log in with Google, Telegram or Facebook, you have no password and just type DELETE.

What happens

• Your account is closed and you are logged out everywhere.
• We remove your email address, password, profile photo, bio, name and username, and the links to Google, Telegram or Facebook.
• Your questions and replies can stay on the site, shown as “Deleted member” with nothing that points back to you.
• We keep only the minimum security and moderation records we need.

Can't log in?

Send us a message through the feedback page and tell us the name on the account. We will confirm it is you and delete the account.
