What: A 3-month startup accelerator held in person in San Francisco from January to March 2027. Each accepted company gets a $500,000 investment, a dedicated YC partner, weekly group dinners, more than $12M in partner credits and deals, and a Demo Day where it pitches to investors. Who can apply: Startup founders anywhere in the world, in any field. Solo founders can apply. You do not need to have incorporated your company before applying. Founders must be able to commit full-time and attend in person in San Francisco. Deadline: 2 November 2026 Cost: Free to apply Funding: $500,000 investment per company (in exchange for equity), plus more than $12M in free credits and deals from partners How to apply: 1. Make an account and log in at apply.ycombinator.com. 2. Fill in the online application about your startup, founders and progress. 3. Submit before November 2, 2026 at 8pm Pacific Time to get a decision by December 11. 4. If your application is promising, you will be invited to a video interview in November or December. 5. YC usually decides on the same day as the interview and gives feedback.
